New Year note from the General Manager
The Year of the Dragon marks our second Lunar New Year for Keppel Club at Sime. As we look forward to a vibrant year ahead, we will continue to push forward improvements and new initiatives for everyone. In addition, the management is also working hard to further enhance the Club’s financial performance and overall objectives for 2024.
Since we began operations till now, records have shown that members’ play time have significantly increased with the implementation of the +10% and 48-hour booking schemes. For those who failed to secure a game after three continuous ballot attempts and did not have any game during the same period, they would be contacted by our staff and offered a game. This initiative will continue so every member will get to play a game.
For our public golfers, Keppel Club is happy to extend a warm welcome to them. Plans are in the pipeline for combined member-public golf events. Kickstarting such initiatives is the first-ever combined Fa Cai Game which will be held on Feb 17, 2024.
Also, watch out for our first Keppel Charity Golf at Sime. We look forward to your generous support to help raise funds for the less fortunate.
Next to be rolled out is our New Golfers Programme for members and public golfers. An initiative that is supported by Keppel Club’s Green Committee, this programme aims to provide comprehensive services from beginner’s golf lessons to proficiency certification, all under one roof.
In 2023, our F&B team has organised several wine and whisky-tasting nights. These unique wine-dinner events were very well received, and we strive to feature them more regularly as Keppel Club’s signature events.
As we spring into the new year, my staff and I would like to thank all members and guests for your support. We will continue to level up our services and offerings to delight your Keppel Club experience.
I wish you good health, happiness and abundance in the Year of the Dragon. Gong Xi Fa Cai.
