1. Accelerated Theory
At Let’s Golf@Sime, we believe that mastering the game starts with understanding its ins and outs. That is why we kickstart your journey with not one, but two theory golf classes, providing a deep dive into the intricacies of the game. These classes are designed to cover everything from golf etiquette, such as proper behaviour on the course and interacting with other players, to the basic rules that govern gameplay. Understanding these fundamentals is crucial for developing a strong foundation in golf and enjoying the game to its fullest potential.
2. Driving Range Mastery
Theory without practical application only goes so far. So at Let’s Golf@Sime, we complement theoretical knowledge with hands-on training at the driving range. Over the course of five weeks, you will engage in one driving range lesson per week, focusing on refining your swing mechanics, ball-striking consistency, and shot-shaping abilities. Whether you are a newbie golfer looking to build a solid foundation or a novice player aiming to fine-tune your skills, these sessions are catered to your needs, emphasising form improvement and muscle memory development under the guidance of skilled professionals.
3. On-Course Expertise
Transitioning from the driving range to the actual course requires a blend of skill, strategy, and mental fortitude. Let’s Golf@Sime bridges this gap with one on-course golf lesson per week for five weeks, immersing you in real playing environments where decision-making, course navigation, and situational awareness come into play. From tee box strategies to green reading techniques, you will learn to adapt your game to varying conditions while honing your shot execution under pressure. These immersive sessions not only enhance your technical skills but also nurture a deeper understanding of course management and shot selection, essential elements for lowering your scores and improving your overall performance.
4. Provisional Handicap Milestone
The grand finale of your Let’s Golf@Sime journey is the Handicap Test, where you will be evaluated by a tester. Before this final test, you are required to play three rounds of 9 holes each in the provisional handicap round and your scorecards for these games will be used to determine your handicap score.
This is your opportunity to showcase the knowledge, skills, and strategies you’ve gained over the past three months* and apply them confidently on the golf course. Successfully passing this test opens doors for you to continue your golfing journey beyond the programme at Keppel Club.
