Team Keppel narrowly misses the semi-finals
The much-anticipated 2024 edition of Singapore Tennis Association (STA) Inter-Club Singles League was held from March 16 to April 21, 2024.
Keppel Club was represented in the Men’s “C” grade category. As a result of some Keppel Club players being involved in the STA Open Tennis Tournament which coincided with the Inter-Club Singles League, we were unable to field the strongest line-up for some of the matches.
Team Keppel finished in 3rd position in the group with five wins and two losses, narrowly missing out a spot in the semi-finals. Despite this, the team’s fighting spirit and “never-say-die” attitude did not waver. With the Club’s full support, the team hopes to better their performance as they continue to train for the Inter-Club Doubles League and Doubles Knock-Out scheduled in the later part of the year.
