Surpassing our $1.5 million target with $1.638 million raised
Four Hole-in-One cars and more than 600 golfers’ participation over two weekends on Aug 31 and Sept 1, as well as Sept 7 and 8, the 2024 edition of Keppel Club Charity Golf (KCCG) has officially come to an end. We are honoured to have the Minister for Transport, Mr Chee Hong Tat, as our Guest-of-Honour for our grand finale. Although no golfer was able to drive home a Hole-in-One car, we are thrilled to announce that a total of $1.638 million was raised. This was possible, thanks to the concerted efforts and contributions of our donors, sponsors, Management Committee, members and all staff of Keppel Club. We sincerely thank each and every one of you for helping us to continue our 52-year legacy.
The other highlights of KCCG were two hospitality villages – Fiesta@Sime 1 and 2 which were built from scratch by our Course Maintenance and Maintenance teams. Golfers were impressed with the whole Sime experience, which included a lavish spread of food and drinks at both holes 9 and 15 as well as the awesome condition of the green. For many, the Pandora 3D exhibition was a jaw-dropping encounter in another dimension, while the Heritage exhibition took them on a journey to the colonial years.
We are encouraged by the many rave reviews and positive feedback we received through the four days. All the months of planning, sweat and tears and long hours were recognised and well appreciated. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you again.
