Team Keppel takes 5th position in the SGA Junior Inter-Club League 2024
The 2024 edition of Singapore Golf Association’s (SGA) Junior Inter-Club League has finally concluded after a five-month challenge. The first leg kicked off at Warren Golf & Country Club on April 8, and the final leg was played on home ground at Keppel Club on Sept 16.
A total of 10 clubs, including SGA’s very own Future Squad, participated in this year’s league. Keppel Club was represented by eight young men and ladies. Representing Keppel Club in the “A” division were Ji Chenyu, Colin Tan Wen Shan, Dylan Sean Ng Ooi Khiang and Keagan Scoot Ng Ooi Tong. In the “B” division, we have Elise Zhang Yuqi, Kim Chanjoo, Maeghan Emilee Senti and Gideon Yeo.
The team from Tanah Merah Country Club clinched the 1st place in the overall team ranking, while Seletar Country Club and Singapore Island Country Club came in second and third respectively. Team Keppel was fifth on the scoreboard. In the “A” and “B” divisions, Team Keppel was placed in the 6th and 4th positions respectively.
Our heartiest congratulations to Maeghan who emerged the winner for “Best individual (B)” in the 6th leg, and again in the same leg, for “Best Division B” with teammate Elise. The girls have done us proud.
