Keppel Club is proud to have hosted Singapore Golf Association’s Singapore Junior Golf Championship 2025! This annual junior event took place from June 3 to 6, 2025, with a practice round on the first day. The atmosphere was electric as junior golfers from 17 nations battled it out on the Sime Course. Despite the varied weather during the competition, the grit, determination, skill and potential demonstrated by the juniors were awe-inspiring.

Generating extraordinary buzz was 15-year old Ajalawich Anantasethakul from Thailand, who achieved an amazing albatross on Hole 14 (par 5) and hit nine strokes under par, scoring 63 on day two of the championship. In so doing, he broke the previous Sime Course record. Ajalawich eventually won the A-Boys category with 16 under to score a total of 200. Our local boy, Troy Storm came in second with 11 under to record a total of 205.
In the B-Boys category, Nguyễn Quốc Bảo Huy from Vietnam emerged as the winner. Singaporean Dylan Chua came in a close second at 230, just three strokes more than Huy.
The A-Girls champion went to Singapore’s Chen XingTong, who scored five under at 211. Our B-Girls also did well, with Sidnie Ng clinching first place on a score of 218 (two over), beating Thailand’s Suritpreeya Pruksanubal by one stroke.
Congratulations to all the champions!
