ActiveSG and Keppel Club
make golf available for all
Keppel Club is proud to launch a new initiative to make golf more accessible to the general public — the “Introductory Golf Try-out by Keppel Club”.
Available now on Sport Singapore’s ActiveSG platform, this programme is for non-golfers who are curious about the sport but unsure of where to begin. Through this initiative, we hope to reach out to beginners and encourage broader participation in golf. The first run kicked-off on July 18, 2025.
What the programme offers
Participants will receive five introductory golf lessons led by certified instructors. These instructors are golf pros who have certifications from the National Registry of Coaches (“NROC”) and are members of the Singapore Professional Golfers’ Association (SPGA).
The lessons are designed to be fun, relaxed, and beginner-friendly — ideal for those looking to try golf without the pressure of investing in expensive equipment or committing to club membership. This affordable try-out course provides the perfect stepping stone for curious first-timers to get a feel for the sport and learn the basics in a supportive environment.
Use of ActiveSG credits
Members of the public can sign up through ActiveSG’s platform, with the option to use ActiveSG credits and enjoy up to 30% off the programme fee.
Pathway to continue golfing
Participants who complete the programme and wish to continue their golf journey can progress to Keppel Club’s Learn Golf@Sime programme, which provides more in-depth learning and a pathway towards attaining a golf handicap.
