From Islay to Kyoto – A whisky pairing dinner










On Dec 11, 2025, Keppel Club hosted yet another memorable whisky pairing dinner. We welcomed 80 members and guests, marking our highest turnout to date, for an evening of fine cuisine and exceptional whiskies.
Participants savoured a specially curated 4-course menu, with each dish thoughtfully paired to highlight the unique flavours of premium Japanese and Scottish whiskies. The menu offered a refined journey of tastes and textures, from delicate starters to indulgent desserts, making every course a true exploration of flavours from Islay to Kyoto.
The evening was made even more special with the celebration of the birthdays of two participants, including our House & Bar Convenor. Adding to the excitement, lucky draw winners went home with a bottle of Yamazaki Distiller’s Reserve.
The whisky pairing dinner was both enjoyable and educational, giving guests a deeper appreciation of the craftsmanship behind Japan’s and Scotland’s finest whiskies, while sharing great food, great whisky and even better company.
