APSN’s themed Charity Golf & Dinner experience at Keppel Club
Keppel Club proudly hosted the APSN Charity Golf & Party on May 22, 2026, celebrating 50 years of empowering lives, and welcoming 160 golfers and guests who came together in support of a meaningful charitable cause. The event brought together corporate partners, golf enthusiasts, and supporters for an unforgettable day of celebrating inclusion, empowered lives and community spirit. APSN is a social service agency that provides special education, vocational training and employment support services for mild intellectual disability individuals.
The shotgun event was complemented by pleasant weather and convenient food trucks stationed around the course to keep golfers refreshed throughout the day.
As evening approached, Tee Top’s Berlayer Room was transformed into a vibrant “Spirit of the 70s” themed celebration, featuring retro-inspired décor, nostalgic music, and a lively vintage atmosphere inspired by 1970s Singapore. Guests enjoyed a specially curated hawker-style dining experience with local favourites such as Singapore Laksa, Chicken Rice, Satay, Roti Prata, Western delights, and more.
Breaking away from the conventional ballroom charity dinner format, APSN chose to host the programme in a more unique and immersive setting at Keppel Club. Despite not having a traditional ballroom venue, the Club worked closely with the organisers to curate a fully customised themed experience that brought the event to life in a memorable and engaging way.
The evening programme was held at the putting green, which was transformed into an open-air entertainment space featuring live performances, stage presentations and programme highlights. Guest-of-Honour, Mr Edwin Tong, Minister for Law, graced the occasion, alongside Mr Stephen Marchisio, the French Ambassador to Singapore, in support of APSN’s mission towards a more inclusive society.
Guests were treated to inspiring performances by APSN Katong School’s Circus Arts and APSN Ensemble, adding to the celebratory atmosphere of the evening.
