Bishan residents try their hand at golf
Keppel Club was absolutely delighted to welcome our friends from the Bishan Residents’ Network (BRN) for their inaugural “Swing to Golf” programme on Nov 7, 2025. This event was designed specifically for non-golfers, offering 16 Bishan residents a fun, relaxed, and practical way to dip their toes into the sport.

The participants made the most of their time in the sun, moving across three different stations to experience various facets of the game:
The Driving Range: The morning kicked off here, where attendees experienced the satisfying “thwack” of connecting with their first shots.
The Putting Green: Participants then moved on to tackle the subtle and crucial art of the short game, learning the finesse required on the green, and understanding the skills involved.
The Golf Simulator: Things heated up as the group went head-to-head in casual virtual games at our Golf Simulator, providing a high-tech and entertaining introduction to course play.
After a packed half-morning of fun, golf, and laughs, the group adjourned to Tee Top to enjoy a well-deserved light lunch.
We extend our sincere thanks to all the BRN residents who participated and brought such great energy and enthusiasm to the Club. We truly hope this initial “Swing to Golf” inspires them to pick up golf!
