Keppel Club Charity Golf 2024: An invitation to make a difference
Since our first announcement in June that our Keppel Club Charity Golf (KCCG) is back after a two-year suspension, our team has been working hard around-the-clock for the big day. Many departments, including Operations, Golf, Course Maintenance, F&B, Finance, Communications and Procurement met every week with General Manager Desmond Chua, to plan for a golf charity event like no other.
KCCG 2024 marks the 52nd anniversary from its humble beginning in 1970. It will be held on four days over two weekends: Aug 31 and Sep 1 as well as Sep 7 and 8, 2024. The Minister for Transport, Mr Chee Hong Tat, will be our Guest-of-Honour on Sep 8, 2024. Our goal this year is to raise $1.5m for our beneficiaries, with proceeds to be donated to 17 charities. Among them are the Autism Association, 365 Cancer Prevention Society, HCA Hospice and Down Syndrome Association and more.
Unlike our past charity events at Bukit Chermin, this year, we are bringing the fun and action right onto the greens. Yes, indeed! The KCCG team is building two hospitality villages – Fiesta@Sime 1 and 2 – at holes 9 and 15, where golfers will be treated to sumptuous food, non-stop fun and music, exhibitions and attractive lucky draw prizes to be won. The centrepieces of the event are none other than four Hole-in-One cars, sponsored by Komoco Motors Pte Ltd and Capella Auto Pte Ltd. In addition, participants will also be receiving our limited edition goody bags.
While all of us at Keppel Club including our Management Committee are doing the best we can in this fund-raising, we would also like to invite all members to sign up for this meaningful cause. Not only will you get to experience our uniquely Keppel Club signature event, you will also be helping to empower many lives as you enjoy the day.
If you are not keen for a round of golf, we also welcome cash donations or purchase of Raffle draw tickets. Be it golf or cash, either way, the goal remains the same – to lend a helping hand to those in need.
For the first time ever, we are extending KCCG 2024 to the public. We welcome all golfers in Singapore to play in our charity game. We urge all members to help us spread the word and invite your non-member friends to join in our fund-raising.
Here is the KCCG 2024 Registration Form for golf game or cash donation.
