Keppel Club rocks on
Keppel Club rocked on throughout the Hari Raya weekend with our guest band Viva. The night started off mellow, as people found their seats, got reacquainted with friends, and settled down for dinner. As Viva took to the stage, the energy was increasingly charged, reaching a crescendo as they rocked on through the night with their repertoire of classic rock anthems.
A great time was to be had by all as members and guests alike arose from their seats to cut the rug. As the night went on, we were all pleasantly surprised to be serenaded by two guest singers singing familiar tunes: the Club’s very own songbirds, Mr Jimmy Yap, and guest Ms Eliza Chong.
As the night wound down, everyone went home with big smiles from a great time with like-minded friends.
The atmosphere was described by Mr Khor Chee Kok, Keppel Club’s House and Bar Convenor: “An awesome evening of rocking and rolling from members and guests. All having a great Rock & Roll time! The energy was electric, and we are thrilled the night was such a hit. Huge thanks to everyone who helped bring it all together and to such great fun!”
