Lunar New Year message from our
General Manager
Greetings to all our e-Keppel Links readers,
As we trot into the Year of the Horse, I wish all our members a Lunar New Year filled with energy, good fortune, and joyful moments on and off the course.
Looking back at 2025, it was a remarkable year for Keppel Club. We continued to strengthen our position as Singapore’s first hybrid golf club, delivering memorable experiences for members while reaching out to the wider community. From the inaugural Community Golf Festival to the Pesta Sukan Golf and Keppel Charity Golf 2025, we deepened member engagement, celebrated sporting excellence, and made meaningful contributions to society. These milestones have set a strong foundation, and I am excited to share that 2026 promises to be even bigger and more vibrant.
Building on our success
Our hybrid system has proven to be a successful model, balancing member-centric offerings with community outreach. This year, we will continue to leverage this model to build the Club’s reputation, ensuring Keppel Club remains a leading platform for golf, inclusivity, and innovation. Members will enjoy more club and hybrid tournaments, signature games, and lifestyle events, while select programmes also provide opportunities for the public to experience golf and connect with the Club. This approach strengthens our hybrid model and reinforces our role as a community-focused institution, demonstrating that Keppel Club can be both a premier member venue and a platform for wider engagement.
Exciting plans for 2026
Following the success of last year’s Community Golf Festival, we are thrilled to announce an expanded four-day festival this year, providing more opportunities for both members and the public to enjoy golf in fun, engaging ways.
On the Club front, we remain dedicated to enhancing your experience through F&B upgrades, refreshed social spaces, and uniquely Keppel events designed to bring our community together.
With carefully curated tournaments, themed games, and social activities, members will enjoy more ways to connect, play, and celebrate the sport we love.
Commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility
Our commitment to corporate social responsibility continues to guide our actions. In 2026, we are reworking the Keppel Charity Golf criteria to ensure that funds raised are allocated effectively and reach the organisations and communities that need them most. Beyond KCG, initiatives such as inclusive golf clinics for persons with disabilities and outreach programmes remain central to our mission, ensuring that Keppel Club continues to make a meaningful, accountable impact. These initiatives ensure that funds are allocated responsibly and create real, tangible benefits for those who need them most.
Navigating challenges
The year 2026 will also bring its share of challenges, including ongoing cost increases and operational pressures. Effective financial management remains our top priority. We will continue to focus on prudent spending, cost optimisation, and sustainable investments, ensuring that Keppel Club remains strong, resilient, and able to deliver high standards of service and facilities.
Looking ahead
With a strong foundation from 2025, a clear strategy for reputation-building, and a renewed focus on member experience, I am confident that 2026 will be a year of growth, excitement, and shared successes. Together, we will continue to uphold the Club’s legacy, strengthen our hybrid model, create more opportunities for members and the wider community, and deliver even more memorable moments at Sime.
As we embark on this New Year, I extend my heartfelt thanks to all members, staff, partners, and supporters for being an integral part of the Keppel Club journey. Here’s to a year filled with opportunities, achievements, and, of course, plenty of great golf!
Warmest regards,
Desmond Chua
