Hot on the heels of the Thai Fusion Family Feast, Tee Top’s culinary journey continues with a celebration of Teochew heritage in September.
Inspired by his Teochew ancestry, and memories of cooking with his grandfather, Chef Javier’s September specialty will tickle your tastebuds with vibrant flavours that Teochew cuisine is known for.
Taking centre stage for this lavish spread are the Minced Pork Roulade and the Golden Pomfret. Steamed with salted veggies, plum, and the chef’s special sauce, the Golden Pomfret is lovingly prepared in classic Teochew style. The minced pork roulade is wonderfully flavoured with an in-house marinade, water chestnut, and Mui Heong, a special variant of salted mackerel. Rounding up the selection is a stir-fried leek with bean curd, a very traditional fish maw soup, a delectable chicken consommé infused with fish maw, and fresh homemade pork balls.
