A bowling lesson,
a rewarding experience
Following the announcement of our “Learn to Bowl” programme, which was organised by the Billiards & Bowling Sub-Committee, for novices who are keen to learn the basic of bowling, two female members, Ms Tan Swan Too, Ms Lim Choon Noi and their two guests signed up. Their lesson was held on Nov 2, 2024 from 4pm to 6pm at Orchid Country Club (OCC).
The session commenced with an introduction to the game, followed by warm-up exercises of light stretching and practice drills. The ladies were then taught the grip, stance and release techniques. Given that it was a small class, Coach Zalina, from the Bowling Academy of OCC, was able to supervise and guide each participant more closely. The ladies were appreciative for her “personal” coaching. A question-and-answer wrapped up the session, it was a rewarding experience for all the ladies.

Fees per 2-hour lesson: $27.25 for members and $40.87 for members’ guests.
