New Year message from the General Manager

Greetings to all our e-Keppel Links readers. In the blink of an eye, we are now entering our fourth year at Sime. As Singapore’s first golf club to implement a hybrid system, our success would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our members. Thank you for being an integral part of this journey.

As we prepare for 2025, our priority remains steadfast: enhancing members’ benefits and enjoyment. We are continuously working to increase opportunities for members to golf within the given limit quota. 

Enhancing Members’ Access
To help members secure a flight, we have streamlined and diversified our booking options. Currently, there are four avenues available:

1. Balloting
2. 51-hour booking (formerly the 48-hour booking system)
3. +10% booking
4. Call-assisted booking for one- and two-ball flights

Additionally, members who have been unsuccessful in three consecutive ballots within a month and have not played a game during that period will be offered a game in the following month. These initiatives ensure fairness and uphold our commitment to increasing members’ playing opportunities.

Starting January 2025, we are excited to introduce the “Birthday Initiative”. This special programme allows members to celebrate their birthday month at the Club, enjoying memorable moments with friends and family.

Maximising flight capacity
Our reports indicate that the above initiatives have significantly enhanced members’ opportunities to play, exceeding many initial perception that “it is hard to book a flight at Keppel Club”. Members who actively participate in booking, balloting and golfing with friends have successfully met or surpassed the target of two games per month, with additional games often booked through their social circles. Furthermore, our initiative to reach out to members who faced unsuccessful bookings, combined with the offer of birthday games, has further strengthened engagement.
