Ballroom dancing comes alive again at Sime

Remember the very popular ‘Tea Dances’ of the 50s? Keppel Club and the NUSS Music Section had our version called the Shanghai Tea Dance Party on Jan 11, 2025. Our very first dance party at Sime, this event marked the 10th anniversary of our collaboration with our friends at NUSS Music Section.
Response to our tea dance was overwhelming with more than 100 party-goers showed up, some without prior registration! We danced to the grooviest tunes and snappiest beats, and some of our own members showcased their fabulous singing, accompanied by our Keppelite Band and NUSS Friends Alliance!

We also enjoyed a sumptuous Dim Sum buffet, and some lucky members walked away with cool prizes from the lucky draw. Ask anyone who attended and they will tell you they had a fantastic time. So do join us for our next “Ballroom & Latin” dance event which will be announced soon. In the meantime, feel free to polish up your dancing skills!
