In this issue, we are pleased to meet Ms Lynn Lee, who became a member of Keppel Club in June 2024. Lynn is a project manager with a multinational corporation who discovered her love for golf during the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite being a newcomer to the sport, she has quickly embraced the challenge and is passionate about improving her skills. When she is not on the greens, you can find her enjoying a game of bowling. Lynn relishes the opportunity to connect with seasoned golfers and learn from their experiences.

Q. What draws you to Keppel Club? Is it golf, the Club’s social events and activities, or the food and beverage here?
A: It all started when my friend, Trace Wong, invited me to join in a few golf games. I was instantly taken by the beautiful landscapes and the welcoming atmosphere of the community here. Keppel Club had been on my radar for a while, and when the opportunity arose, I knew it was the perfect fit. And yes, golf is definitely my favourite sport—no doubt about it!
Q. Do you enjoy coming to Keppel Club?
A: When we moved to Sime, the land area was drastically reduced. This means fewer facilities for members and F&B outlets. I would probably say I miss the various F&B options at Bukit Chermin, where I used to visit as a guest.
Q: Do you consider the Club your second home?
A: I guess so! I’m here almost every weekend, so it definitely feels like a home away from home 😊
Q: What do you appreciate most about the Club?
A: Aside from the cheeky monkeys (LOL), I really enjoy the nature and lush greenery, as well as the warm, community-friendly atmosphere. Everyone here is so welcoming – we smile and greet each other, even if we don’t know one another. I’ve also made some wonderful new friends through the events and social games, which is something I truly appreciate.
Q: Share with us a special encounter during your bowling/billiard game or when playing golf / tennis at the Club.
A: Actually, I do not have any special encounters so far. However, I always enjoy the company and activities organised by Keppel Club. It’s always a great time, and I look forward to many more fun moments ahead!
