Golf & Pool Game: Enjoying the best of both worlds
About 60 golf and billiards enthusiasts took part in the Golf & Pool Game on Feb 28, 2025. It was organised by the Billiards & Bowling Sub-Committee. Combining two favourite sports in one day, the event took participants from the golf course to the pool table, before attendees were treated to a sumptuous 7-course Chinese dinner prepared by Executive Chef Raymond and his team.

The golfers were blessed with great weather in the afternoon and all were able to enjoy the first segment of the friendly match without disruption. In the evening, the second segment of the competition saw participants trading golf clubs for cue sticks. Each team was represented by one member, and the teams’ scores for golf and pool were totalled up to determine the top three winning teams.
Although the competition has ended, the fun continued into the night with a prize presentation, lucky draw and karaoke session. Aspiring singers from each table had their two minutes of fame as they belted out their signature tunes. Soon, it was time to say goodbye, and participants reluctantly bade farewell to one another. It was heartening to see that the participants had a great time.
