Savouring an evening of whisky with a chef showdown

Another edition of exquisite whisky pairing night brought together 84 members and guests at Berlayer Room, Tee Top on March 26, 2026, for an evening of fine whisky, curated cuisine and great company.
The evening opened with a welcome dram of The Balvenie 12 DoubleWood, leading into a four-course menu paired with The Balvenie’s distinctive whiskies.
Adding a unique twist to the evening, a friendly cook-off between Chef Tan Wei Kang and Chef Jeff Khong brought an entertaining flair to the evening programme, as guests took on the role of judges to vote for their favourite dish. The evening also featured an exciting lucky draw, where a total of four bottles of The Balvenie whiskies were given away.
Congratulations to Chef Jeff, who emerged as the winner of the evening with his exceptional culinary creation, Singapore Chilli King Prawn Pasta. With each edition bringing fresh discoveries, the whisky pairing night remains a signature experience that members can look forward to.
