President’s Trophy
The day our golfers’ charitable spirit shines
The annual President’s Trophy was back again! Hosted by Club President Lai Mun Onn, the event was held on Aug 17, 2024 from 12.30pm till late in the night.
Despite a short half-hour suspension, the weather cleared up and was generally pleasing. A total of 133 participants. Participants had their lunch at Tee Top Restaurant before the double barrelled shotgun game.
By 7.30pm, most of the participants had freshened up and headed into Berlayer Room for dinner. The performance of Mike, Desmarie and Karl, was accompanied by clinking sounds of wine glasses and laughter of fellow members. As soon as President Lai declared that dinner was served, the golfers made a beeline for the buffet table, with many coming back for more helpings.
The highlight of the evening was an exciting charity auction which was part of our efforts to pull in more donations for our Keppel Club’s 17 adopted beneficiaries. President Lai thanked everyone for their participation and urged the diners to donate generously for a good cause.
