Championing a brighter future for the underprivileged
A warm welcome to our participants from the Autism Association (Singapore).
We are excited to welcome the return of Keppel Club Charity Golf (KCCG) after a two-year hiatus. Scheduled for end-August, early-September, the time is now ripe to engage the 16 social institutions that the Club has committed to supporting through such CSR events.
In the lead-up to the KCCG game from now till September, Keppel Club is organising a series of golf activities for the clients of our beneficiaries . This will be an opportunity for the participants to have a first-hand experience of golf.
First up on our list is the Autism Association (Singapore) whose clients visited us on May 28.
The day was filled with excitement as participants got to experience the different aspects of the game. They started with an introductory lesson on the fundamentals of golf, followed by a virtual golf session in our high-tech golf simulator lounge. They then had the opportunity to put what they learned to the test at the putting green and the driving range.

Cheerful faces framed both participants and staff, including Mr Sarayanan, Autism Association’s (Singapore) Head of Programme and Services for Adults, who said: “We are delighted to be invited to Keppel Club for this golfing experience. This is the first time our clients are visiting a golf club and it is a refreshing experience for all us. A visitation like this provides an opportunity for our clients to be exposed to the community and is beneficial in developing their social and motor skills.”
This enriching experience provided a unique opportunity for a day of hands-on recreation and discovery for our visitors. The day rounded up with a sumptuous lunch at Tee Top Restaurant; we look forward to extending our hospitality to the rest of our beneficiaries.
